I did this two weeks ago, but didn't have time to upload.

I already have a backstory for these guys, but they have no name yet xD. They're not a couple, but they work for the same corporation. The asari is a pureblood and a geneticist, and the turian is a hunter who brings in required specimen (animals) for testing. She's a bit cold-hearted, which doesn't really show in this picture (I already finished the drawing, when I decided to modify her personality).

Pose reference: [link] :)

to :iconimprovement-club: I kinda struggled with the hands, and there are probably other problems, too ^^"

Wonderful lineart! And the chars seem really interesting. I want to know more about them.

Well, about the hands: I'm no expert myself but I have the feeling that they are a bit flat. Not the fingers, they are alright in my opinion, but the hand/palm itself. This especially shows at the girl's hand. I know it's really hard with the perspective, but somehow this part that makes the 3D is missing. Ahhh, it's really hard to describe, I'll just show you what I mean [link]

Thanks for the pic, it's helpful :) I always have this problem with hands, they really look flat and weird ^^" The angle's horrible, too :D I'm gonna study this tutorial, maybe some time (probably in the very far future) I'll get the hang of it :)

About the characters, I have two other drawing of the woman, and a bit more detailed story for her, but one of my teachers gave me an assigment (spinal cord reflexes poster, kinda like the ones you see in hospitals, so it's gotta be big), so I put her development on hold :/

You're welcome.
Just keep practicing. For me, too, hands are one of the hardest things to get right...
